    International agreements

One of the main missions of the FMJH is to develop the international opening of mathematics in the Paris-Saclay region. Programs to recruit young mathematical talents (such as the Sophie Germain program) are open to candidates from all over the world. However, it is also useful to develop a more targeted international relations policy, with the signing of specific agreements. This is a policy that the FMJH pursues both to support national actions led by INSMI in particular, and to support local initiatives. In the past, for example, the FMJH has supported various initiatives by colleagues in countries such as Tunisia, Vietnam and Cuba.

The FMJH has also established longer-term collaborations, always relying on locally-invested colleagues, but sometimes also joining forces with friendly organizations such as the FSMP and INSMI. These agreements concern training or research, as the case may be.
