The EDMH Welcome Day
A doctoral students' day, open to all EDMH doctoral students, is organized in October each year, usually at IHES. Attendance is highly recommended, especially for first-year PhD students, and a buffet is provided.
Presentations are devoted to the EDMH curriculum, as well as to scientific presentations by teams from EDMH's host laboratories, to promote better understanding of the various partners and the cohesion of EDMH.

9:30-10:00 a.m.: Welcome coffee
10:00-11:00 a.m.: Preparing for a doctorate at EDMH (Agnès Desolneux)
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Scientific presentation by Thierry Bodineau (CNRS Research Director at IHES)

12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Lunch break

1:30-2:00 p.m.: Group discussions with EDMH representatives and assistant directors
2:00-2:30 p.m.: Award ceremony and presentation of the MathTech 2025 Challenge (Mathilde Mougeot and Pascal Massart)
2:30-4:30 p.m.: “Gong" presentations” of PhD students
