Qualification of MCF
To be able to apply in the spring of year n for a Maître de Conférences position in France, it is necessary to be on a list of qualifications drawn up by the Conseil National des Universités. The application for the qualification must take place no later than the autumn of year n-1.
For all candidates, the timetable for the 2026 campaign will be based on a single phase for registration and submission of documents (compulsory and additional), starting in mid-September 2025 and ending on December 15, 2025 (no derogation possible, whatever the date of defense). Applications are made via the Odyssée application.
