An innovative project by the Compagnie Terraquée that tackles the image of mathematics among young people. Through theatrical play, show that mathematics is part of the human adventure. To help young people take a new look at science and knowledge in general, and to accompany them differently in their learning.

Association Maths.en.JEANS

Since 1989, the association MATh.en.JEANS has been promoting and coordinating mathematical workshops in schools where students are placed in research situations, with the participation of university researchers. It allows many young people to be initiated to the research process by being actors and not subjects of their learning.

House of initiation and sensitization to sciences
Location: Orsay

The MISS is a practical space, both playful and rigorous, where students, teachers and young researchers question themselves, make mistakes, experiment and discover together the scientific and exploratory approaches, as well as science "in the making", in the privileged setting of the University of Paris-Saclay (campus of the Faculty of Sciences of Orsay).

If it is a question of sensitizing the children with the scientific approach through mathematics, it is also the occasion to show to the teachers how to approach our discipline by the experimentation and thus to allow to support its ludic, aesthetic and scientific aspect.
