The 2019/2020 graduate students of the Master Program Mathematics and Applications were invited on Saturday September 11 to their Graduation Ceremony, organized by the Graduate School Mathematics, in the beautiful Michelin Amphitheater of CentraleSupelec.
More than 400 people, graduate students and their families, were welcomed with music in the afternoon. Sylvie Retailleau, Universite Paris-Saclay President, introduced the ceremony by congratulating the brilliant Mathematicians of tomorrow.

Isabelle Gallagher, the ceremony godmother and Professor at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris, retraced her career with reassuring words for the young graduates: hesitation in choosing her path, difficulty of full-time research , a balance to be found by means of collaborations, by teaching, by being curious about everything.
Christophe Giraud, Head of the Graduate School Master Program Mathematics and Applications, and master of this ceremony, specifically invited each graduate student to come down on stage to participate at his/her class group photo.
Monica Garcia, graduated from Analysis, Arithmetic, Geometry Program, Lucas De Lara Graduated from Mathematics from Random Program and Émilie Tezenas Du Montcel, graduated from Mathematics of the Living Program, delivered testimonies and stories about their last year Master Program.
The ceremony ended with the traditional scarf throwing, full of joy and pride.
